Discharge and loading of containers, clearance of liner ships, storage of containers, (depot services) and gate control of containers are being transferred to NPS together with the ro-ro activity in Brevik. Other terminal activity, 3PL activity and other storage, unloading and loading of other vessel types will not be transferred to NPS but remain an activity associated with the owner companies as is the case today.
Transport of goods in containers has had a very positive development during the past years. Through the establishment of NPS we have the opportunity for further professionalization. The company will be run by its own management team with full focus on this core area.
